Tectonics: Jigs, props and scaffolding
 London, UK
This tectonics project allowed me to grow my thinking out of the making, sharpening my skills in drawing, prototyping, material research and project management.  with out a site, context or use , with  a reference project, a form (towers, verticals, horizontals, slabs, cubes..) and  constraint of a specific material to build with.
Final model made from plaster featured in Stanley Picker Gallery [1:20 scale] and this image was used as the gallery's cover invite to the exhibition
Initial design: 8 floor structure with a total of 98 columns
Evolution of the column: prototypes made from Styrofoam and plaster
Studying the pressure from the slab to the column, to understand the correlation between the thickness of the slab on the column
Overview of the final model [1:20 sale]
